Dansville started from behind, trailing 8-12 after the first quarter and slowly built and maintained their lead from there. The Aggies’ defense again stayed strong while the offense sputtered at times, especially in transition.
Things flowed better when they went through the hands of Peyton Newkirk, who finished with eight assists while only taking one shot. He was not surprisingly awarded the “Adam Jones” award for unselfishness from Sam Hodgson.
Carson Voss led the scoring with 18 points, followed by Jalen Nelson with 10 points and nine rebounds. Sam Hodgson added eight points and pulled down 16 rebounds.
Junior Keith added six points and Zach Sykes contributed five.
The Aggies are now 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in the league. Dansville will next host Saranac on Wednesday.
