Aggies worked hard against the Bath Bees lastnight as they went 3-1. With very tight sets in all but the second. 23-25, 15-25, 25-23, 24-26. The Aggies came out with a new rotation this week with the loss of a Middle Blocker and an injury with an Outside Hitter/Defensive Specialist last week. Event hough the Aggies are struggling in new positions they seemed to have reeved up speed toward the last of their sets getting more comfortable in their duties.

Aggies started out slow with their passing and had trouble on some serve receives. Defense struggled a bit to get head on with Bath’s hitters. As Aggies switched up responsibilities of blockers on their new rotation, the back row had to maneuver their defense to cover the holes. By the third and fourth set however, Aggies seemed more comfortable. Throughout the night the team was attacking the ball hard and made some remarkable kills that brought the gym stomping the stands. Claudia Thayer proved to earn her position on Outside and pulled up some great digs on defense. Gracie Taylor was not the leader in digs but proved to have many perfect passes that allowed our setters to run good plays. Leading in digs was Kourtney Mack with an amazing 27 for the night! She was also just short of meeting Claudia Thayer with 6 kills for the night. Having some amazing hard kills. Alexis Krumbach led at the net for blocks with 3 Solo and 2 Assisted Blocks. Alexis also had 6 kills for the night, running the net in different locations to create kill opportunities against the Bee’s Middle Blocker. Lastly, Jenna Schild scored the most points behind the serving line with 21 serves and 4 Aces. She also led the Aggies with Assists to her hitters with 14 with putting up 57 good attempts in the match.
