The Varsity Boys hit the road for the first time this season and came away with a 52-32 victory at Fulton. Dansville played a smothering defense for most of the night allowing just 14 first half points. Unfortunately, there was a lid on the basket for the Aggies as well, as several missed layups left them with only an 18-14 halftime lead. In the second half, the Aggies began to create turnovers, pressuring the Fulton ball handlers hard and scoring in transition. Jared Bristle led the way as the point of attack on defense. All 11 Aggies played and contributed to the victory.
Jalen Nelson led the scoring with 18 points. Peyton Newkirk put in nine points to add to some great passing. Sam Hodgson and Junior Keith each added six points.
Bristle was awarded the U-Chain award for unselfishness from Newkirk.
The Aggies are now 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the league. Dansville will next play on Saturday at East Jackson.
